If actions speak louder than words, then the Boston University International Affairs Association creates an eloquent, but deafening roar.
The International Affairs Association is a Debate and International Affairs Society that encourages and promotes diplomacy, dialogue, and understanding different cultures. Although we are a Model United Nations organization at heart, we engage in a multitude of activities that explore the realm of International Affairs.
The IAA is broken down into different programs. Many students actively participate in many of them, but some also chose to specialize in just one. They are:
- BosMUN- our high school MUN Conference with over 1300 participants
- BarMUN- our collegiate MUN Conference with approximately 200 participants
- IR Review- BU’s undergraduate international relations news magazine
- Travel Team- BU’s MUN travel team that attends 6-7 conferences per year; a new team is chosen for each conference.
