BarMUN IV is officially over and while we love having the extra time on our hands, saying goodbye to our college conference is bittersweet! The Eboard would like to extend a huge thank you all of those who staffed BarMUN and took time out of their busy schedules to make this past weekend the best BarMUN yet. The Eboard would also like to give a special thank you and congratulations to Secretary-General Sam Leone and his wonderful Secretariat. The conference weekend went so smoothly and ended on such a fun note on the boat in the Boston Harbor. We appreciate all of the hard work they have done and we cannot thank them enough. Next time you see the Secretariat make sure to give them your best congratulations, because they really deserve it!

This Week

This Wednesday, October 24th at 7:30pm in CAS222 we will be having a BarMUN Feedback Session! 

BarMUN is one of BUIAA’s biggest events and in order to make next year’s conference the best it can be, all of your opinions are extremely valuable. If you staffed the conference, please attend this meeting to offer your praises, concerns, and complaints. We are very open to the criticism (and compliments!), so please do not be afraid to voice your opinion! We look forward in seeing you all there.

The International Business Club (IBC) of Boston University is hosting an event this Wednesday at 6pm in SMG326.

The event will feature international students who will give a 5 minute presentation on the country they grew up in or of their origin. This will be an amazing opportunity to network with other international students and learn about the country background of students at BU. Four of our members will do presentations on their country of origin–Pakistan and Turkey, for example–so please support them! The IBC will also provide pizza and drinks for the event. Come and bring friends!
