Sam Leone is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, double-majoring in International Relations and Environmental Economics with a minor in Arabic. In his free time, he works regularly with the BU Catholic Center, fences saber and plays the saxophone. Though once described as “edgy,” Sam is known for his friendly personality and goofy sense of humor. |

Aura Lee Lunde

After spending her junior year abroad in Paris and Morocco, Aura Lee returns to the BUIAA with a renewed passion for international affairs. She is excited to put her experiences abroad to use as a member of the Executive Board and as a Head Delegate. Hailing from sub-Saharan Chad and rural North Dakota, Aura Lee has learned to thrive in a variety of cultural environments, a skill beneficial to this student of International Relations and to any member of the IAA. |

A Massachusetts native, Angela is a sophomore studying International Relations and French. She was first introduced to the IAA as a high school delegate at BosMUN, and after taking part in Model UN for the first time, realized her love for international politics. In her free time, she also enjoys Irish step dancing, drinking tea, and trying new foods. |

William Hawke Bassignani

William (or “Hawke” as everyone calls him) is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying European History. He is currently the Secretary-General of BosMUN, our high school Model United Nations conference. Other than MUN, however, Hawke is a graphic/web designer who does a fair bit of programming in his spare time. He also works for Boston University in a variety of student affairs-related departments. |

Jessica Merrell

Jessica is currently a junior double-majoring in International Relations and History at Boston University. Her love for international politics was inevitable, as she has lived most of her life either on a different continent or right outside the nation’s capital in lovely Silver Spring, Maryland. Upon arriving at BU, Jessica discovered Model UN, and it’s been love ever since. When taking a quick break from making this BarMUN the best BarMUN ever, Jessica enjoys exploring museums, and, whenever she can get a chance, scuba diving. |

Ed is a Senior in the College of Arts and Science majoring in Environmental Analysis and Policy. He is interested in sustainable urban and regional planning in developing countries. He firmly believes that the toughest and most costly problems that face society today can be solved through trust, ingenuity, and perseverance. One of his heroes is Paul Farmer. |
