While the BU International Affairs Association is an undergraduate student organization, we have a large and active group of alumni who, while spread across the globe, still contribute to the BUIAA experience. Many of these alumni are responsible for building the foundation of our organization, and made transformational changes during their tenure with the IAA. Without these committed men and women, our current membership would not have the same opportunities and experiences available that they have today.

It comes as no surprise then that our alumni have continued to be successful after graduation. Currently, our IAA alumni are represented at some of the most prestigious companies worldwide, from JP Morgan to Microsoft to the US Army JAG corps. They have also continued their studies at some of the top graduate and professional schools in their fields. In addition to the corporate world, many alumni have gone on to work for nonprofits, like Teach For America and the Peace Corps, to help communities grow both domestically and abroad. Regardless of the paths that our members take after graduation, they can all testify that participating in the IAA and Model UN helped get them to where they are today.

We are currently working to build a comprehensive alumni database to keep our alumni up-to-date with quarterly updates. Our goal is to build an education and professional connection between current members and alumni that will bridge the gap between the International Affairs Association and the post-graduate and professional world.

Take it and run with a weekend of MUN! 

The Boston University International Affairs Association invites you to join them for a weekend to reconnect with your old MUN cohorts & enjoy Marathon Monday (MUN-day) weekend in Boston!

The Executive Board is preparing a number of activities for all of you including, but not limited to, a panel that will allow you to speak to your post-BU experience with the current members, a MUN simulation between the alumni and the members, and various social events in Boston.
