The greatest gift that our alumni can share with us is their expertise. What was it like looking for employment? What advice to you have for current students? Are you still involved with world affairs? If you’re going to be in the Boston area, we would love to have you come back to a weekly meeting a chair, for old times sake.
Building Our Network
Each year, we graduate an increasing number of students that eventually find jobs, homes, and families across the world. One of the biggest aspirations we have this year is to build off of each other.
Expert Speakers
BarMUN and BosMUN are constantly exploring complex and interesting issues in the world of global diplomacy. Browse the websites, if you see a topic you have had a particular experience with, let us know! We would love to have you come back as a guest speaker.
Attend Alumni Events
The Boston University Effect
The Boston University Student Alumni Council is always looking for feedback from graduates. Contact them or visit their website to find more about the events they host. You’d be surprised how many people have done Model United Nations or have been in the International Affairs Assocation. Come back to campus and reconnect with them.
IAA Alumni Dinner
This year, we are starting a new tradition- the annual IAA Alumni Dinner. This dinner will take place in April in place of our last meeting of the year. This year’s dinner will take place on Thusday, April 29 at 7.30PM.

Donate to a Program
Every Donation Matters
Want to give back to Boston University but are unsure what to do or where to give to? Why not your favorite student group? The BU International Affairs Association requires a substaintail capital base in order to execute all of the programs we have planned for the upcoming year.
If you’ve graduated and would like to donate, please let us know. Three things are gaurentees:
- You will get to choose which specific program you’d like your donation to go to; whether’s it to help subsidize travel conferences, enhance BosMUN or BarMUN, or simply to host a specific event, we appreciate your contribution.
- Your donation will go towards enhancing the particular program of your choice. Donations will not be absorbed as profit.
- You will receive a gift and signed thank you card from everyone your donation affected.
