“A fun and interactive way to get introduced into the world of Model United Nations”
The Intra-Boston University Conference Simualtion (IBUCS) is Boston University IAA’s way of introducing Model United Nations. This one day interactive simulation is tailored to people with and without Model UN experience. It is a day of meeting new people with similar interests and getting involed with the IAA at Boston University. We encourage everyone to register and enjoy themselves!
IBUCS Facts:
- Date: Saturday, September 19th
- Time: 10.30 AM- 5.30 PM
- Open to all majors and concentrations
- You do not have to be a freshman to register
- Lunch will be provided!
How do I register to participate?
It’s very easy! All you have to do to register is fill out a simple registration form. After you submit this, you will get a confirmation email shortly after with your committee and assignment with further details.

If I do IBUCS am I in the IAA? How much committment is involved?
IBUCS is a one day simulation. There is absolutely no committment to join anything further, although we hope that you join us for further programs and consider our traveling team.
How much do I have to research and prepare?
You will be given short 3-5 page background guides for your respective committee. After reading this, you will be more than prepared for the simulation. Our experienced and knowledgable staff will be available to answer any of your questions the day of the conference.
