Weekly workshops cover both basic and more advanced skills that good delegates should know. These include parliamentary procedure, resolution writing, directive writing, and how to manage a bloc.
In addition to weekly training workshops, the travel team also holds monthly simulations. These simulations vary, but in the past the organization has simulated the World Health Organization, the U.N. Security Council, and the Brazilian Police Force. These simulations are typically held on Saturdays and last about three hours. They are a great way to put the skills you learn in weekly workshops to practice! They also give new delegates a chance to get a feel for what a committee is like.
Simulations and workshops are mandatory for all travel team members, and all members of the BUIAA are welcome and encouraged to participate.
