Usra (she/her) is a rising sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences and hails from the great state of New Jersey. Although very indecisive about her major (which will probably be a combination of Econ, English, and International Relations), Usra is sure about her love for BUIAA! She has been competing as a Model UN delegate since her freshman year of high school, and is one of MUN@BU’s incoming Head Delegates. She has also staffed both BarMUN and BosMUN as a Crisis Staffer and Crisis Director, and is currently Conference Affairs Director of BosMUN. Outside of BUIAA you can find her singing her heart out as Music Director of Chordially Yours Acapella at BU, partaking in BU Student Government as a CAS Senator, reading Dostoyevsky, listening to Taylor Swift, or binge watching Breaking Bad, Star Wars, or Bollywood movies.

Michael Tsegaye

Michael Tsegaye is a Freshman studying International Relations at Boston University with a regional track of Asia and a functional track of Foreign Policy and Security Studies along with a Minor in Japanese Language and Literature. He is originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, only 45 minutes away from D.C.!
While he only started being involved in Model UN in college, his love for MUN has already shown through. After competing at numerous conferences and staffing both of BU’s conferences, he is now excited to be an incoming Co-Head Delegate for MUN@BU! Before coming to BU, Michael participated in various activities such as working as a lifeguard for two Summers, and conducting research on phylogenetics!
