The International Relations Review
The IRR formally recruits staff for the academic year before each academic semester.
The IRR is currently hiring new staff for its internal team and editorial team. Apply below!
Internal team members work in the IRR’s layout department, run its podcast, solicit sponsorships, and more.
Editorial team members create articles for the IRR’s semesterly print journals and the IRR’s website. Writers are placed in regional departments based on their academic research interests and the journal’s needs
The IRR also welcomes external submissions through its Contributor program. Should staff positions open throughout the year, contributors will be considered first.
BarMUN
BarMUN, our collegiate MUN conference, is recruiting Senior, Crisis, and Logistics Staff members for the Fall 2024 conference. Click the buttons below to learn more.

BosMUN
BosMUN XXIV, our high school MUN conference, is now hiring Senior Staff members. Visit the website below for more information.

Students for the United Nations (SUN)
To receive more information about SUN, fill out the New Member Interest Form or contact the SUN Director. All meetings are open to the general public, so come join us at any time!
SUN meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 pm in SAR 104.
MUN@BU
The MUN@BU team meets twice weekly to teach both beginner and advanced techniques to delegates from a variety of MUN backgrounds. No prior experience is required to participate, and weekly general meetings are open to anyone wanting to join the team, practice speaking, or just observe (Tuesdays 8:30-10).
Tryouts for the select Cut Team are held at the beginning of the year and have an added meeting each week with more intensive and specialized training. Cut Team tryouts will be announced in early September, after Splash!

MUN@BU General Team meets every Tuesday from 8:30-10 pm in HAR 208. Cut Team members also attend meetings on Thursdays at the same time and location.
Marketing Board
Applications for the Marketing Board for Fall 2024 are now open.
Our marketing board is accepting members on a rolling basis. They are currently looking for head photographers, head videographers, social media liaisons, heads of graphic designs and general members. The marketing board is in charge of posting and regulating information on LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. The members are in charge of capturing fun moments at major BUIAA events - BUIAA Gala, Global Village, Splash and more. For the 23-24 year, they are looking to expand on the alumni outreach page, and increase collaborations with other organizations at BU.

BUIAA Networking
Supplementing the excellence of its undergraduate members, The International Affairs Association is incredibly proud of its large network of alumni representing the disciplinary diversity that makes BUIAA so successful. BUIAA alumni are serving all around the world in embassies, government agencies, NGOs & nonprofits, hospitals, and policy groups. They have founded companies, contributed to groundbreaking research, and negotiated key disputes. As will you.
