Dr. Youssef Chahed

Former Prime Minister of Tunisia (2016-2020)

Dr. Youssef Chahed is known as both the youngest head of government in Tunisia’s history and the longest serving democratic Prime Minister. Prior to becoming Prime Minister, he served as Secretary of State for Fisheries and Minister of Local Affairs. Dr. Chahed is currently a Senior Fellow with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Middle East Initiative.

Mohamed Nasheed

Former President of the Maldives (2008-2012)

Mohamed Nasheed is the first democratically elected president of the Maldives, and the 4th President of the Maldives. He later served as the Speaker of the People’s Majilis from 2019-2023. He is currently serving as the Secretary-General of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), leading global advocacy for climate-threatened nations.
